Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. - Ephesians 4:29
The world is in love with finding the bad and the wrong with each other. Politics fills each of our lives with hate, detestation, and inevitably, pride. As christians we have an obligation to rise above the common degrading speech of today’s world, and speak words of edification (n. - the instruction or improvement of a person morally or intellectually). We are capable of intelligent, prudent, and wise speech, while still being edifying and pointing those who hear us to consider who is the motivation behind our uplifting speech.
