Wholly Sufficient

He has told you, O man, what is good;
         And what does the LORD require of you
         But to do justice, to love kindness,
         And to walk humbly with your God?

A lot of people in this world seem to have the first two of these requirements down pretty well. The world is full of nice people who want Justice. However, Christianity is not just about doing the right thing, or about being nice and kind to those around you. Christianity is a personal, deep, relationship, with another being. It’s about knowing and walking daily with your King and Savior. This is much harder to do than say. How does one have a relationship with a being that you can’t even see?

Well, that’s where faith and belief come in. It’s hard to describe what you do to walk with God, but perhaps the whole of Jesus’ ministry was trying to enlighten a legalistic people to seeing what it means to walk with their God, humbly. Christianity is taking that next step in a relationship, it brings faith and belief one giant step above a list of rules and behaviors, and demands relationships.
What doth he require? (Micah 6:8)
