He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man: he that loveth wine and oil shall not be rich.
 
What comes to mind here is the song, “Girls just wanna have fun.” I do not know why this song comes to mind, but I think it makes sense. Today we always just want to amuse ourselves and have fun. We should realize pleasure as a by-product of righteous and purpose directed conduct and intentions, not as the goal to be reached. When this is understood, I think pleasure and life in general gain a sweeter taste to it. It is called “suspension of gratification.”
